How do I check the status of my order?

Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email that includes a tracking number. If you have not received this email, please feel free to contact info@serendipitous-prpoject.com to check on the status of your order.

What should I do if I need to cancel or change my order?

We accept cancellations or adjustments to orders within the first seven days from when your order was placed, unless it has already been shipped. Please contact info@serendipitous-project.com.

My package never arrived, what should I do?

Please contact us at info@serendipitous-project.com if you do not receive your package. Serendipitous Project is not responsible for packages once they have been consigned to a carrier for delivery to your shipping address. However, we would be happy to contact the carrier to inquire after your package.

What if my items were damaged upon arrival?

Serendipitous Project will repair items purchased through serendipitous-project.com at no charge for up to 1 year following purchase (under reasonable circumstances) Please initiate a repair through our contact portal.

Processing + Shipping

How Long Does it Take for my Order to Ship?

Since our items are made-to-order. Time is needed to create a quality product. Our pieces require up to 14 business days of processing time. If you ordered an item that you need within 7 days, you can speed up your processing time by selecting our expedited processing fee at checkout, which cost $75.00 for domestic orders and $100.00 for international orders. Shipping is included in the both fees.

What happens if my order does not show up?

We are not responsible for packages that are lost or damaged in transit. We strongly urge you to select a secure shipping location. If you need to make a change to your shipping address, please contact us as soon as possible. We can amend the address as long as the package has not left our facility, but unfortunately, we cannot reroute a package once it has shipped. In the event your package does go missing, please notify us immediately so that we can file a claim with the shipping carrier on your behalf. Serendipitous Project is not responsible for missing packages that are marked as delivered by the carrier. For added security, we highly recommend that you select the "require signature for $8" box when checking out on our website.

How long will it take for me to receive my items once they have shipped?

Domestic orders should be received within 2-5 business days via UPS after you received your shipment notification. International orders will be delivered between 2-3 business days via DHL Express after you received your shipment notification.

Expedited orders will be delivered 1-2 days after you receive your shipment notification. If there are any delays with your order once the item has shipped it is beyond our control. Any inquries regarding delivery should be resolved with UPS or DHL. You can also reach out to us and we can inquire on your behalf.

Returns

What is your return policy?

All returns must be made within 7 days of receiving your item for store credit. Item(s) must be unused with the original packaging. Please note we do not currently provide shipping labels for international returns. If you would like to make a return, please contact us here

Warranty

Serendipitous Project is committed to creating less waste! Therefore we want to make sure you can enjoy your gems for a lifetime. We will complimentary repair your Serendipitous Project item for up to 1 year. If you have had you item for over a year and need a repair we will charge a modest fee which will be assessed case by case.

Care

GENERAL CARE

Serendipitous Project pieces are handmade with love. Our items are built to last, however we do work with some fragile materials*. We ask that you handle our pieces with care. Please avoid excessive dropping, improperly transporting or storing your pieces. (* especially our items made with porcelain and seashells)-We also suggest storing your item in a cool, dry, place to reduce the likelihood of tarnishing. We suggest a dust bag, or the box included in your order! -Avoid exposing your jewelry to excessive humidity or sunlight.

CLEANING

To clean you Serendipitous Project piece we suggest purchasing some jewelry cleaner. However, there is also a low cost hack. You can clean your items with toothpaste! Either use a toothbrush or use your hands but evenly coat your item with toothpaste and let it sit for a second. Then rinse your item immediately with cool water. Make sure to immediately and throughly dry your piece to prevent tarnishing.
